Just Some Thoughts on July 16

Sadly I did not go to the Street Dance. I babysat. For a 5 month old baby and a little girl who is 5. It went great actually. Babysitting is fun. You can be a kid again and you forget about everything about how much money you need to buy the new skirt you saw at the mall, or how you have to finish 3 pages of homework in English. If the kids aren't a terror and destroy everything, babysitting can actually help you realized something, was I like this when I was younger?

Have you ever thought: Wow that song is old! Of course, you have!!!! Songs come in and out, here are some examples you'll find yourself saying, "Wow, Those are old!"

1. Tell Me What You Want - Spice Girls
2. Oops! I did it Again - Brittany Spears
3. Let it Burn - Usher
4. Yeah - Usher
5. Hollaback Girl - Gwen Stephani
6. No More - 3LW
7. Where is the Love - BEP
8. Dirty Pop - NSYNC
9. Want it That Way - Baskstreet Boys
10. Majic Stick - Lil Kim

So: a definition

So. How I start almost everything. A simple word in fact. But what is the definition of "so"?

So:
1.In the condition or manner expressed or indicated; thus: Hold the brush so.
2. To the amount or degree expressed or understood; to such an extent: She was so weary that she fell.
3. To a great extent; to such an evident degree: But the idea is so obvious.
4. Because of the reason given; consequently: She was weary and so fell.
5. Afterward; then: to the gas station and so home.
6. In the same way; likewise: You were on time and so was I.
7. Apparently; well, then. Used in expressing astonishment, disapproval, or sarcasm: So you think you've got troubles?
8. In truth; indeed: “You aren't right.” “I am so!”
So, (there we go again) next time you use it, are you using it like the word "like"?
Think about it.

Cars Review

Well, heres the overview. The movie was good. Many of my friends said they didnt want to see it because they thought it would be too kiddish and since it was animated, that's what it appeared. But in fact, it was good. I grew up watching Nascar every Sunday race. I enjoyed it.

Now, many people have wondered what the police were doing outside the Meadows and Roudebush neighborhoods. This is the story.

About 10/10:30 at night, we arrived home from the movie Cars. Mrs. Simac had asked one of her neighbors what had happened. Lets call this neightbor Ted. Ted had went up to the front of the neighborhood and had asked what was happening. The police told Ted that someone had escaped from jail. This person was heard to be in the neighborhood of Roudebush. Ted then asked if it was safe to walk his dog. The police said no, do not go out. Now, our phone was ringing about every 5 to 10 minutes because of the updates. Mrs. Simac had went up there later, she lives close to the entrance, and asked if it was safe to go out now. The police said they caught the guy in the cornfield and would be done in about 15 minutes. The guy was caught and taken away. The helocopters stopped around 11 or so.

The whole time the phone was ringing, my brothers and I were on the computer playing and trying to solve Nancy Drew. Today, I finally beat it. Yes, indeed I am the biggest dork for playing Nancy Drew. But it is very mind challenging if you ask me. You try beating it in less than 20 hours. The box does say, "Guarenteed to keep you occupied for 20 hours." Good Luck.

So, right now. I am documenting my favorite band of all time!
ALL AMERICAN REJECTS.
The concert rocked!! If you liked Dirty little Secret, youll love their other songs!!!!

The Day/High School

Well, today was pretty sweet. Lets see a new bathing suit in which i recieved an awesome tan in at the pool, and then just hung out at abs eating and just well, destoying her brothers life .. ok .. not literally .. we hoping to plan our awesome road trip some where to have awesome fun on Spring Break!! Cant wait!

Well, just planning to go to sleep now. Its weird how that i was really tired two days ago and went to sleep for about 12 hours and woke up tired. Im having weird dreams with them all involving the scariest thing for an incoming freshman:

High School
I swear, my mom says she still has dreams about it where she cant find her locker and when she does her locker is stuck and is late to class. Scary. I cant really explain these dreams though. I end up across the street from the high school and have to take a taxi back. WHATEVER.
The only thing lately on my mind is just cant wait to drive. I guess, it will be an experience that i cant forget. Like when I lived in North Carolina on the lake when I first learned to drive Bobs Yamaha jetski. I held onto the gas lever and just went. It was completely awesome. Oh well, today was pretty rough going to the pool and laying there getting tan and enjoying the company of one of my bffs.
I did see two movies this weekend! The devil wears Prada was completely hilarious. I highly suggest it to any chika wanting to see a chick flick. Lets say Anne Hathaways boyfriend in the movie was cute! He also co-starred in the movie Drive me Crazy with the girl who plays the real life Sabrina the teenage witch. Meryl Streep was stunning with her bossiness and phrases like, "Don't bore me with dull questions," or "Go bore someone else with your questions."
I also saw Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Mens Chest. I liked the first movie. This one was OK. If they cut the movie in half, it would of been two great movies. The movie was dragged out and .. well .. just too long. They are making the third movie and it is coming out in December .. i think .. well .. If you are bored .. go see it .. the movie didnt need to be 2 hours and 40 minutes. But see it if you must. You will like it.
The night is still young. Good night.
Just Mandi -- oh wait ..
I am not a Jack. LOL I was informed that Jack off of Will and Grace had a blog in the show and signed off Just Jack. So if he is gay and trying to be a girl, I am a girl and not gay. So, there be it, I am the only Mandi that can be just a dork like me, all the other Mandi/Mandy's I know are pretty cool and all. So, there is only me you get. Just me. Just Mandi

AAR concert

So next to the last Friday-June 30- I went to the All American Rejects concert. Heres the review of it:

So we arrive and get our tickets from Will Call. My dad, my friend (Abbie), her dad, and I walked back the line outside the State Fair Grounds (by the horseracing track, Celebration Park). The people were about like this:

90% girls
8% guys
2% parents

The outfits remained from preppy to punk to hard-core rockers. I arrived in Stephanies wild graphic tee, jean capris, and my brown/pink low-cut chucks. The first band really stunk. They were from Damoine, Iowa. I dont know how they got there. The band was unprofessional, but the drummer and guitarists were ok. The lead singer wasnt that great. He must of been cute or something to make it into that band!! The Damones were professional and really good. The lead singer was a girl and rocked out!! The guitarists were pretty sweet!!! Now, the best part was the All American Rejects! I didnt realize Tyson was cute!! The drummer was a good drummer but not at all had the looks. The guitarists were my next favorite!! They were all over the place but still put on an awesome show!!

High School

So, again, another day in my shoes. Wake up, do something with the family, home, sleep. Of course you dont always wonder, why am I here? I am about to start something that is said to be one of the greatest chapters of your life:

High School

I cant say i am ready, but yet again I cant say that I am not. I guess its weird growing up in public school. You become the youngest for a couple of years and then you are head honcho and rule the school. You move on to a bigger school and the cycle starts over. I guess, it gets old. Until now. Its the middle of summer and I am already worrying about if i will be able to look decent each day, if ill have the supplies for each class. In four simple years we will be out on our own.
