Gwen Stefanie Concert Review
So, I do a lot of reviews. Of course, I enjoy them. They help me release my thoughts in which I can be confident in and not worry about others judging them. On June 2nd, I went to the Gwen Stefanie featuring Akon and Lady Sovereign concert. It turned out, Gwen can party. I thought she couldn't do it and it would just be an okay concert. WRONG! I enjoyed it. She can perform live. But really bothers me is that performers always are saying how this show is special and how they will perform a song just for us. I can't help but think, do you say this for all of your fans? Are we just that special you say that for everyone?? Oh well, what is it like to be a famous rocker? I guess we will just have to see for ourselves!

Myspace
The recent debate between parents and teenages is: 1. Internet 2. Phone 3. Myspace
So, what is this all about? Parents say this is an unsafe site for their teenages to visit. But really, they are blind. I admit I have a myspace. My parents do not like it nor did i think they cared. It turns out, I was wrong. First, they got a new software to protect your computer. When it came with parental controls, they went overboard blocking every website that wasn't educational. This caused problems when it came time to find out about sports or assignments I had in school and weren't listed as an educational site. I agree that myspace is dangerous but only if you use it in a way to Date. And frankly, many of my friends, almost all, and probably a lot of over people, do not use it in that way. Maybe one or two desparate people use it. But most teenagers are aware of the possibilities of weird crazy people. And, the "craze" of myspace right now is short and sweet profiles without all the junk with blocked profiles so you aren't stalked. But yet parents do not understand how smart we are about it either. They basically insult our intelligence by saying, "We think you are dumb enough to get on Myspace to talk and meet weird people who might just want to rape you." And some of us are really offended, considering that we only get on to see some of our friends on there and talk. This is a way for some friends to talk. Now, parents use the excuse "but they have screen names to talk with you on". But in that defense, AIM is outdated in a way where its easier to go on Myspace because you can find friends easier to talk to and ask questions. I understand the big threat of weird creepy people on Myspace, but does it really compare to kids getting on Myspace just to talk to their friends. I mean you yell at your children for texting, calling, and talking to their friend but yet you expect them to have a healthy social life. Parents are just too strict and worried more about getting in trouble with the law than seeing the point of view from their teenagers. Then, without communication, they yell and take things away. Parents are just as bad as the teenagers. But, in defense of the parents, getting a myspace is not going too far. Simply getting a myspace allows that freedom, responsibilty, and trust of the teenagers and it helps them monitor that. Now, we can all agree that parents were once our age too. But parents forget that as time goes on. Some way, some how us teenagers will just have to show the parents that.

A hold on Things
To update this random blogger, that many of you won't read, I will write. Writing is something you do. Something that you are in hopes for someone else to read. But the truth is, i bet no one reads this. No one sits around and checks up on how i am doing. This is just simply a document that will be here. But sitting here, I realize. I dont want someone to sit here and read every single blog i have sent. I just want someone to know that I write. That if you did want to know something, I would write about it eventually. That I would then express it in my thoughts. That I would hate for someone to think this is boring.
I've recently don't have any idea of what to do with my [guy] social life. Formal. This is where it all started, sadly. Somehow I ended up dancing with this amazing person who now I am not so sure of. He made the night, oh how do I say this, a little more fun. But there was/is a rumor that he repulses me. This is something only a friend of me would know about. This is something more than just looks [even though I find he is better than people take him and that even though hes #1 on hot guys list, he is still pretty cute]. Crapplebees [I know haha], that night, served me Orange Chicken Bowl. Somehow:
Now, back to the real reason I am here.

Food+heat+extreme dancing+dehydration=barf
Although other people might think different about how I got to the barf, that's how it happened. Turns out, he thinks it was because of him. But yet, here I am to realize, NOT! Me and him were really close for a while, until this rumor got to him. This sounds stupid of me, but when he told me about it, I didn't say anything. So, as a guy, he thought it was true. I just kind of avoided him now and then. Not because I wanted to, but because of my friends.
What do you do when your friends disapprove?
What was I to do? So now, we finally talked last night. But not anything about that situation. Before the rumor, we talked for 89 minutes. I know, because I reviewed my cell phone bill and the biggest amount of minutes used was with him. Last night, I dont know, it was a start. But recently, he has a new fling. With someone who I don't exactly know that well. But i do know well enough, she's "better" than me. Not in the way some people think, though. She always perfect, in school and sports. He took her to prom. He runs with her now. What do I do?
Leave him?
Talk to him?
Listen to him?
What should i do? My friends are out of the question, they don't know. So, afterall, I will get through it. He is a senior and going to college, which happens to be the college i am destined to go to, because of many reasons. This sounds cheesy, but this is my thoughts:
my brain says, "Forget him, find someone else."
my heart says, "Talk to him, go after him."
my friends say, "Forget him, get revenge."
This event will be updated soon, if not, tell me to. Just check it out and see, because someone else out there is having the same problems.
